Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket Club' or BWCUCC is a cricket club whose club is at Burnside Park, Christchurch, New Zealand and is one of the oldest Cricket Clubs in Christchurch have been established in 1905.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Burnside Cricket )〕 The club has 11 teams which play in several grades in the Christchurch Metropolitan Cricket Association who look after club cricket as well as have 9 junior Saturday Teams in the Christchurch Junior Cricket Association leagues. They also have a very well support Friday night league for younger cricketers schools year 1-3 to be introduced to the game. While the club has benefited from the merger over the years from the West Christchurch Cricket Club, which then merged with University Cricket who were at Ilam, and then subsequently they merged with Burnside Cricket to form the new club and to further establish Burnside Park, or as cricketers would call it, Burnside Oval.
